- Lens Mount: Nikon F-mount, natively supporting older pre-AI (non-AI) lenses.
- Metering: Center-weighted TTL (Through-The-Lens) CdS meter.
- Battery: Originally used a 6V PX28 battery, housed uniquely inside the bottom of the mirror box. Modern equivalents like the 4SR44 or 28L are readily available.
